Sweden

We are very north. And its totally winter here and snowing. Today we went to small town in the middle of nowhere, its about 50 miles south of the ARCTIC CIRCLE! what? I think i am going to try and drive up to the arctic circle just to say ive been there.

The Moose

The Moose: The best dive bar in Copenhagen. Ill miss you. You brought me so many cute boys to talk to and so much cheap beer to drink.
Bye Bye Denmark. bye bye overpriced hotel food. Bye bye Airport. Bye bye Marjan and Owen. Bye bye sunshine and water taxis.

RIOTS!

Tonight we had to stop shooting because the air was thick with TEAR GAS! What? Really... what? Apparently they closed down a couple of drug houses in Christiania and the kids started Rioting. Who'd a thought? Peaceful, benign, little copenhagen ends up being more fucked up than the Favellas of Rio. I guess white people get REAL angry when you mess with their marijuana. i know how they feel...

Macedonia

I haven't made friends with any Danish people yet. Ive met people from Spain, Belgium, Sweden, but not Denmark. Apparently there are a lot of foreigners and refugees here, so the local attitude is a little prejudiced against foreigners. Yesterday, i hung out with like 15 people from Macedonia. We ate Turkish food and they explained to me why they hate the Greeks. Macedonia sounds pretty incredible, and old, and sad, and I really want to go there now. If i was a Christian it would be even cooler i think. In the town of Ohrrid they have 365 churches so you can visit a different one everyday.

Food

Food here is damn expensive. Im sitting here trying to convince myself that Burger King is ok for the second time today. Yuck. Money is an issue... but maybe the fact that i am at an airport is a factor too. Afterall, i can either eat a $40 hamburger here at the hotel, or i can have a hot dog at the airport. I haven't gone the way of the dog yet, but tonight might be the night.

On the Road Again

i leave tomorrow. LA has been as magical as always. I spent a lot of time sleeping and laying low. I ate a lot of delicious food, and hung out in Wonderland, the most amazing place in all of Silverlake. And i went to the Prince, my favorite K-town bar/restaurant. I ordered four entrees and the lady looked at me and was like "Four?" "you want how many?" I just wanted to try a little of everything... so?

Honk City

Just one more thing about Lima. These people honk constantly. just lay on their horns in every situation. Today i was walking to the bar down the street and there was a man walking and tooting a whistle. The poorman's honk perhaps?

Those are more pics of Lima

Sweden... Denmark... Norway... its all the same anyway, right?

Well Hello,

Because of some kind of crazy aerospace phenomenon, I will actually be leaving tomorrow for Los Statos Unidos. Its crazy i know! The trip is coming to a close. Woah. Really, woah. Man... that's just crazy.

So I'll be in LA for a few days and then off to the next leg of the journey. Even though i leave in like a week, I still dont know where i am going; i just know its going to be cold. These are some options i have heard:

Sweden
Norway
Denmark
Iceland

Definitely Amsterdam. Yeah, mom, that's totally going to happen.

P.S.
LAians: Please give me a ring. My friend is letting me stay in her dope place all by my lonesome so i figure i should party as hard as i can. Barcade. The Prince. Short Stop. Bike Rides. The Beach. Friendship. Avocados. Rollerskating(!), Under Water.

P.P.S.
here are some pictures of the lovely city of Lima, Peru. South America has been amazing. I want to stay here forever. Well, its definitely somewhere i need to come again.

RIP Lovely Mutant

News from LA: My bike was stolen. Its kind of silly that i cried a little. I love you mutant. We went a lot of places, tore up a lot of dirt, collected some invaluable spoke cards. And now you're gone somewhere with someone else. Im sorry i wasn't there to protect you--its selfish of me to leave you alone. Maybe one day we'll meet in the big Midnight Ride in the sky.

-Love, Doom

Sunshine

This is a pic of the a drink called Chilcano. Its made with Pisco, the national Peruvian Liquor made in the town of.. can you guess.... Pisco! It tastes like a ray of sunshine. In Brazil is was Pingha, which was like moonshine made of Sugar Cane. Yum! The drink there was Cipidena. I think its spelled differently but i dont know portugese and also i am drunk. Funny thing, im not drunk on either of these fine latin liquors.... im drunk on good ol Black Label. Thanks America.

HEY!

I had the opportunity to hang out online yesterday and talk to a lot of my friends. This is what i looked like at the time--notice the ear bud and microphone-i was supposed to be working.

Then i got drunk... this is me on the way to the bar.

Then i took a pill.... this is me totally crushed before i went to bed.

Hurray for Peru.

What Ill Be Missing

Ok, So going to Maccu Piccu has been something ive wanted to do since the first time i heard about it. I dont really care about seeing a lot of ancient sites, but this one has always seems so amazing and special to me. BUT i have to come back to LA for work stuff so im missing the only opportunity ive ever had to go there.

This is the plan: its $200 a month to rent a house in Cuzco, the city outside of Maccu Piccu. Im going in May. Who's with me?

dooo doo do do doo bleoop

Hey everyone

Its official. im returning to LA on the 14th of October. Dont worry about containing your joy, i understand you must be very excited. I am too!! Peru is overcast all the time, but its so relaxed and there are not a lot of people around, not a lot that speak english either. It kind of feels like im no where. Its nice. Did i mention i have a jacuzzi and a Sauna in my suite? Man the universe is so great.

Love,
Erin

Peru

I traveled to Peru, Oh boy! We had a lay-over in Argentina, so i guess i can say ive been there too. When we got to Peru it seemed flat and a little disappointing. BUT spending some time here yesterday really got me into the swing of things. Peru has a pretty intense history and buldings here date back to the 16th century and stuff! WOW! Here are some delicious things i did. one pic is of the bones in the catacombs of San Francisco Cathedral. Its a stack of bones 10 meters deep. Eeps.
